James A Hutcherson is a seasoned business leader with over 40 years of technology experience. His first Salesforce project was implemented in 2004, marking the beginning of his Salesforce journey. Over the years, he has continually expanded his Salesforce expertise and now holds 19 Salesforce certifications, including Certified Salesforce Application Architect and Certified Salesforce System Architect.
Jim is a Partner at IBM, responsible for the low-code/no-code CTO, and has delivered large-scale projects for the US Federal Government, including agencies such as the General Services Administration (GSA) and Veterans Affairs (VA). Before IBM, Jim led Salesforce programs at Octo Consulting, B3 Group, and Capgemini Government Solutions. He was a founding partner of Adnubis, LLC, with his son, dedicated to supporting Salesforce environments for small businesses.
He is passionate about supporting veterans and their families, having hired and mentored over 50 individuals through the "Hiring our Heroes" program, which helps veterans and spouses transition into the Salesforce ecosystem. An avid educator, Jim has also hosted numerous no-cost Salesforce training sessions to give back and foster growth in the Salesforce community. He holds an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College, an MSCIS from the University of Phoenix, and a BA from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He and his wife, Sherry, live in Orlando, Florida, where they enjoy spending time with their family and four wonderful grandchildren.
