It explains the basic working principles of common domes’ appliances which are found in any home and how to repair them. The domestic appliances that have been covered are Power Supplies, Washing Machine Steam Iron, Rice Cookers, Microwave Ovens, Rice Cookers, Electric Kettles on Mixers Grinders.This book is as per Modular Employable Skills (MES) scheme of Director General of Training under Skills Development Ministry and covers the full syllabus of Module-ELC-701. Repair and Maintenance of Domestic Electronics Appliance. This book covers Theory as well as practical exercises required as per the course module.The training is provided by Private as well as Government VTP (Vocational Training Providers). After successful training the skill assessment of the candidate is done by independent Assessing Body. After successful completion of the Assessment the Candidate is provided with a Certificate of Acquired Skill is provided by NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training) which is a government body under Ministry of Skill Development. This certificate is recognized nationally and internationally for gainful employment.The book also has a question bank and the pastern of sample papers that forms a part of the assessment process.This book will be quite useful also for the Electronics hobbyist who wish to acquire basic electronics knowledge and learn its practical applications.This book will also be the basic book for “Medical Equipment Technician” and Installation and Service Engineer” courses. The National Operating Standards (NOS) has already been developed by the Health Sector Skill Council and Electronics sector skill councils respectively and is under the process of validation. Government of India is also planning to provide substantial funding for medical equipment maintenance to all the states and Medical Equipment Technician will be required in thousand’s. This book also covers the syllabus of “Field technician; UPS and Inverter” as per NOS (National Operating Standards) of Electronics Sector Skill Council.

The first requests for a book like ‘Let Us C Solutions’ started coming when the third edition of Let Us C was released. I answered them by writing this book. Since then I have met so many readers who said that every new edition of Let Us C should be accompanied with two books—a new edition of ‘Let Us C Solutions’ and a new edition of ‘Let Us C Workbook’. I decided to accede to this request and from fifth edition onwards started releasing all these three books simultaneously.

The success of last ten editions of this book has validated my belief that if you have a book which lets a reader cross-check the solutions/programs that he creates, then it boosts his confidence and improves the overall language learning process.

Through all the editions of this book one person who never got tired of helping me was Manish Jain of BPB. No matter what request I made, he always acceded to it. Amol Tambat, Ajay Daga, Prachi Garaye, Amit Mendhe, Vikrant Sahoo, Shoeb Parvez and Monali Nikhare were instrumental in checking all the solutions of several editions of this book. Many thanks to all of them! I have reorganized and rationalized exercises of Let Us C 16th edition. The solutions to all these exercises have been included in this edition of Let Us C Solutions.
